Today, Saturday 6th Dec 25, we held our walked up Open Trial at the fabulous Seaton Shoot near Axmouth. Award winners and judges Retriever Novice Trial Seaton Shoot Today we held our Novice Retriever Trial at the Seaton Shoot, nr Axmouth on an exciting new ground that provided a challenging walk up day for dogs and handlers. The team of guns led by Neil Watts were fantastic, ensuring a steady supply of birds. The combination of root crop and cover crop tested the dogs. On Monday 27th October 2025 we held our first Novice AV Spaniel trial of the season at Druids Lodge by the Kind Permission of The Guinness Family, this was new ground for us and Druids lodges first trial. Thank you to all the competitors for supporting the club, we had a full running card of 16 dogs, we ran under a 4 judge system, Thank you to our judges, Alice Wise, Ray Titchener, Ian Stevens and Rob Singleton we were bless with the weather and some great hunting ground down
