Award winners and judges Retriever Novice Trial Seaton Shoot

Today we held our Novice Retriever Trial at the Seaton Shoot, nr Axmouth on an exciting new ground that provided a challenging walk up day for dogs and handlers.

The team of guns led by Neil Watts were fantastic, ensuring a steady supply of birds. The combination of root crop and cover crop tested the dogs.

Our judges were Craig Perry A Panel, Matt Gould B Panel, Shane King and Henriette Fletcher NP giving the dogs plenty of opportunity to shine.

I would like to thank the helpers Fen D’Lucie, Harriet Ramsey, Mark Smith, Jill Smith and Sarah Lowman for giving up their day and making the day run so smoothly.

There was only one award winner, Mike Jones with Wauniago Dave who finished second and Guns Choice went to James McKenzie with Marhystin Zadkeil of Redvalci.
