The sad passing of our Society Patron Charles Fuller

We are all extremely sad to learn of the death of our Wiltshire Working Gundog Society patron Charles Fuller who died aged 75 on December 28 after battling for 13 years against cancer.and we offer our condolences to the Fuller family.

Charles was our society patron from 2000 and attended many of our functions and annual AGMS. Anyone who knew him would have known how fond he was of his impeccably-behaved labradors.

We are very grateful that he offered Orchardleigh to be used by our society and many field trials and working tests for retrievers and spaniels were held there. The estate provided a super venue that was appreciated by all competitors. Charles always took an interest in the dogs and attended many of the competitions and he will be hugely missed by all.

Please note on the advice of the Kennel Club and due to the spread of COVID we have had to sadly cancel all of our forthcoming trials. This includes our Novice AV Spaniel Field Trial on 22nd  January and Novice AV Retriever Trial on 26th January.
